Sometimes, for previously saved documents Word does not remember the following properties: Zoom Window size Window position Page/Draft Layout But sometimes it remembers the following properties of the LAST SAVED DOCUMENT: Zoom Page/Draft Layout It then applies these properties of the last saved document to ALL saved documents when they are opened (whether those documents were saved with those properties or not).
