Wacom Xd-0912-u Driver For Mac
I wanted to make an update for anyone in the future that wanted to try this, or at least give feedback on what I have attemptedand failed to make work. I have the above mentioned INTUOS 2 drawing tablet.
I want to use it on my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) seeing as trying to use my iPad Pro, with Duet for example, is not exactly the way I like to work. (Don't get me wrong, Duet is good, but I prefer the tablet.) While my Goolge-fu has been fruitless until now, I have found a couple of sources that seemed to give me some hope. #1 #2 While the first one was pretty basic, it was enlightening and easy to follow along. The second was more to my liking, since I prefer that type of tutorial. With that these are my observations: I was able to get the latest Legacy driver from Wacom's site-6.2.0w4-and the latest for HighSierra-6.3.30-2.

Going through the first set of instructions, I was a bit confused due to the fact that 'removing the driver' could have meant two things-within the WACOM Tablet Utility; either deleting the PreferencesPane or Removing Tablet Software. I worked through both, where both failed for me. From here, I went through the second set. Finding the PreferencePane in the root level Library folder and proceeding to get the rest of the steps going. Until step 10. It asked to make changes within the Pane, but I could not get into it.
This is what happens: while the Pane is loaded, clicking on said Pane only results in a dialog-'To use the 'Wacom Tablet' preferences pane, System Preferences must quit and reopen.' To which results in System Preferences restarts, attempts to load the Pane again, only to load the same dialog box over again; resulting in a loop. Following the rest of the critical steps does nothing to help with the reopen looping. Which is where I am stuck. So here's what I am thinking: 1) I might want to use the referenced HighSierra drivers listed in the first post: 6.3.23-3, but I suspect that would yield the same results; 2) I might have a conflict with USB Override that I use for my gaming mouse-only 10% sure on this; 3) With macOS Mojave being released tomorrow, this was a waste of time.

Personally, I don't think so because I learned things from this time spent. Mainly that I now have motivation to write my own set of drivers to make this work.
Once I have Mojave installed and setup, I will tackle working on this again. Wish me luck!
